Job summary

Microbase Inc. is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, install, and support IT infrastructure in our Makati office. You will manage end-to-end technical solutions, project management, and client support to ensure smooth deployment and reliable system performance.

You will handle pre-sales activities (POC, product demos), design and plan solutions, and provide post-sales support to meet expected turnaround times. Strong communication and independent work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College degree in IT-related field required.
• CCNA certification required.
• Strong LAN/WAN infrastructure knowledge.
• Knowledge of UTM firewall, proxy, and VPN is a plus.
• Experience in configuring network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices and systems.
• Provide pre-sales support including POC and demos.
• Deliver post-sales client support and ensure timely resolution.
• Own project management and document configurations.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other departments to ensure service flow.
• Attend vendor trainings to update product knowledge.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role designs, installs, and supports IT infrastructure, providing end-to-end technical solutions, project management, and client support to ensure smooth deployment and reliable system performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will be responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices and or systems analysis, design, and development.
• Will provide pre-sales support such as proof of concept (POC), and product demo and will be responsible for designing and planning solutions, products, and services to ensure a smooth implementation and deployment.
• Provides post-sales support to the client and will make sure that the expected turn-around time will be achieved.
• Take ownership in providing accurate and reliable resolutions to problems of the client.
• Documents processes and system configuration.
• In charge of Project Management.
• Assists other engineers in providing support solutions.
• Coordinates problems encountered in the system to supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth flow of service.
• May be required to attend vendor-sponsored training to ensure that product knowledge and skills are always updated.
• Will be trained for various products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any other IT-related courses.
• CCNA certification is required.
• Must have extensive knowledge in LAN and WAN Infrastructure and design.
• Knowledge in Network Security using UTM Firewall, Proxy, and VPN is an advantage.
• Experience in configuring and implementing network solutions.
• Knowledge in configuring Switch Protocols HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, MSTP, LACP.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, Firewall, and Wireless configuration.
• Preferably with knowledge in Active Directory Setup and Exchange Server.
• Knowledge of Virtualization is an Advantage.
• Expert in using MS Excel, Visio, and MS word for reporting.
• With excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently, take ownership and organize workflow to concurrently meet multiple milestones and deadlines.
• Must be a trainable and fast learner.
• Must be independent and willing to work for extended hours.
• Fresh graduates with good scholastic records will be considered.
