Tata Consultancy Services in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise networks across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and SDN to support scalable test and production environments.
You will work with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Palo Alto devices, monitor performance with SolarWinds/PRTG, and integrate provisioning with CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end environment setup.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Subnetting, Routing (OSPF/BGP/EIGRP), and Switching protocols.
Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and proxies.
Network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting on Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or Palo Alto devices.
Experience with network performance monitoring and diagnostics using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
Ability to manage network policies, QoS, and high availability designs for production and test environments.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for network automation.
Automation of network provisioning, configuration, and deployment in hybrid and cloud environments.
Integration of network orchestration workflows into CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end environment setup.
Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) tools like VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, or OpenDaylight.
Ability to create and maintain network templates, scripts, and configuration standards.
Experience provisioning and managing virtual networks in test or lab environments.
Ability to simulate multi-tier network topologies for testing applications, DR, or upgrades.
Integration of network test beds with orchestration workflows for automated environment creation and teardown.
Implement network security policies (firewall rules, segmentation, access control).
Knowledge of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and network monitoring for threats.
Hands-on experience with VPNs, secure routing, and encrypted traffic management.
Perform vulnerability assessment, patching, and compliance checks for network infrastructure.
Monitoring and reporting network performance, capacity, and availability.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams for end-to-end environment provisioning and governance.
Knowledge of API-based network automation and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Cloud Load Balancers).
Exposure to multi-cloud virtual networking for hybrid and DR environments.
Experience with network overlays, SD-WAN, or VXLAN in test and production environments.
Knowledge of container networking in Kubernetes or OpenShift environments.
Knowledge of Zero Trust networking, network segmentation, and micro-segmentation.
