Job summary

Inchcape is seeking a Network Specialist to support and enhance our global network operations. You will ensure stability, security, and performance of critical network services across multiple markets, with a focus on Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise networking, strong English communication, and a proactive mindset to drive automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, telecom, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, network segmentation, firewall policies, VPNs, and enterprise networking.
• Experience supporting large-scale corporate or global network environments.
• Excellent English communication skills across global teams.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network services including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, NAT, and network access.
• Provide hands-on support for Cisco Meraki environments, including switches, wireless APs, dashboards, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Cisco Meraki experience is mandatory.
• Manage Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, firewall policies, routing, VPNs, security rules, and operational issues.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities, including root cause analysis and major incident support.
• Support global network initiatives such as office deployments, infrastructure refreshes, firewall changes, SD-WAN improvements, Wi-Fi standardization, and cloud-connected environments.
• Contribute to network governance by maintaining documentation, diagrams, inventories, standards, and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, automation, reporting, and scripting; experience with Python, APIs, and IaC is valued.

Our IT Operations platform is looking for a Network Specialist to support and enhance our global network operations, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of business-critical network services across multiple markets.

What you’ll do

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network services including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching, internet connectivity, DNS/DHCP, NAT, and network access.
• Provide hands-on support for Cisco Meraki environments, including switches, wireless access points, dashboards, monitoring, configuration validation, and troubleshooting. Cisco Meraki experience is mandatory.
• Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, firewall policies, routing, VPN connectivity, security rules, and operational issues. Fortinet experience is mandatory.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities, including root cause analysis, major incident support, implementation planning, rollback procedures, and service improvements.
• Support global network initiatives such as office deployments, infrastructure refreshes, firewall changes, SD-WAN improvements, Wi-Fi standardization, network optimization, and cloud-connected environments.
• Contribute to network governance by maintaining documentation, diagrams, inventories, standards, operational procedures, and compliance with global network practices.
• Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, automation, reporting, and scripting initiatives. Experience or interest in Python, Cisco DevNet, APIs, network automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts is highly valued.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, network engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, network segmentation, firewall policies, VPNs, and enterprise networking.
• Experience supporting large-scale corporate or global network environments.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams and stakeholders.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.
