Job summary

Inchcape is seeking a Network Specialist to support and enhance our global network operations from the Philippines. You will ensure stability, security, and performance of enterprise network services across multiple markets.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies, and a proactive mindset to drive automation and improvements within a global IT operations context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, network engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, network segmentation, firewall policies, VPNs, and enterprise networking.
• Experience supporting large-scale corporate or global network environments.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams and stakeholders.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network services including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching, internet connectivity, DNS/DHCP, NAT, and network access.
• Provide hands-on support for Cisco Meraki environments, including switches, wireless access points, dashboards, monitoring, configuration validation, and troubleshooting. Cisco Meraki experience is mandatory.
• Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, firewall policies, routing, VPN connectivity, security rules, and operational issues. Fortinet experience is mandatory.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities, including root cause analysis, major incident support, implementation planning, rollback procedures, and service improvements.
• Support global network initiatives such as office deployments, infrastructure refreshes, firewall changes, SD-WAN improvements, Wi-Fi standardization, network optimization, and cloud-connected environments.
• Contribute to network governance by maintaining documentation, diagrams, inventories, standards, operational procedures, and compliance with global network practices.
• Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, automation, reporting, and scripting initiatives. Experience or interest in Python, Cisco DevNet, APIs, network automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts is highly valued.
