Job summary

SM Retail is seeking an experienced IT leader to drive infrastructure projects and technology delivery that support business growth in the Philippines. The role partners with stakeholders, global IT teams, and vendors to deliver reliable, scalable IT solutions for retail operations.

The candidate will oversee end-to-end projects, manage budgets, and lead teams to ensure high-quality delivery and effective transition to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in network infrastructure, IT site management, or similar roles.
• 2–3 years of managerial or leadership experience.
• Strong project management, vendor management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT projects to ensure timely delivery and business alignment.
• Drive network infrastructure improvements and effective IT service management.
• Oversee vendors, budgets, procurement, resources, and schedules.
• Strengthen IT processes, manage risk, and promote continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure solutions fit for purpose and are transitioned to operations.

• Manage Vendors & Budget: Oversee vendors, project budgets, procurement, resources, and implementation schedules to meet project commitments.
• Drive Process Improvement: Strengthen IT processes, manage risks, and promote continuous improvement to support retail operational efficiency.
• Lead Technology Delivery: Provide technical guidance, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure IT solutions are fit for purpose and effectively transitioned to support retail operations.

Qualifications

• At least 10-12 years of experience in network infrastructure, IT site management, or a similar role.
