Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Network Administrator to maintain and enhance our enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure at Metrobank Center, BGC. The role covers design, implementation, and support to ensure availability, performance, and security for business operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in network administration, strong routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and security skills, plus familiarity with monitoring and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE or related field.
• 3–5 years of network administration or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and network security.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and performance management.
• Experience working with vendors and telecommunications service providers.
• CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs, administers, and maintains enterprise network infrastructure components and telecommunications facilities.
• Ensures network availability, performance, and security within SLAs.
• Researches network security, routing, switching, and emerging technologies to improve resilience and efficiency.
• Provides technical support and consultancy to internal stakeholders and subsidiaries.
• Delivers second-level support for network-related incidents and coordinates vendor support.
• Maintains accurate and secure infrastructure documentation.
• Provides technical guidance to other network administrators.
• Performs capacity planning and forecasting for scalability.
• Identifies automation opportunities for recurring tasks.
