MicroSourcing is hiring a GCP Network Engineer (Supervisory) for remote work in the Philippines. You will own the Google Cloud foundation, design secure landing zones, and drive DevOps/SRE practices across client engagements.

The role requires strong GCP delivery experience, IAM/policy security expertise, and leadership to guide a team. Experience with Terraform and CI/CD is essential, with exposure to multi-cloud interconnects and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• GCP Professional certification (e.g., Cloud Architect, Security Engineer, Network Engineer).
• Strong, client-facing GCP delivery experience.
• Knowledge of IAM, OU, policy-driven security for Gemini Enterprise.
• Deep VPC/VPC-SC, networking, org policy, landing-zone design.

Responsibilities

• Own the Google Cloud foundation across client engagements.
• Design and build secure GCP landing zones (organization, IAM, networking, billing, monitoring).
• Implement identity-aware network security and multi-cloud interconnects.
• Provision and configure the Gemini Enterprise platform with access controls and governance.
• Apply the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework for AU data residency, DLP, and compliance.

Your Role
As a GCP Network Engineer (Supervisory), you will:

• Own the Google Cloud foundation that every client engagement runs on, building to a standardized, multi-tenant, managed-service-ready standard.
• Design and build secure GCP landing zones, including organization hierarchy, IAM, networking, billing, and monitoring.
• Implement identity-aware network security, cross-cloud / multi-cloud interconnects, and robust DevOps/SRE practices.
• Provision and configure the Gemini Enterprise platform, establishing proper access, connectors, and governance controls.
• Apply the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework to harden environments for AU data residency, DLP, and compliance (APRA / privacy).

What You Need
Non-negotiables

• GCP Professional certification(s) — e.g. Cloud Architect, Security Engineer and/or Network Engineer.
• Strong commercial GCP delivery experience (consulting / client-facing).
• Knowledge of IAM, organisational units (OU) and policy-driven security, so Gemini Enterprise is set up to best practice.
• Depth in VPC / VPC-SC, networking, org policy and landing-zone design.
• DevOps / Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI-CD, logging and monitoring.
• Multi-cloud exposure and secure interconnect experience.
• Technical leadership and delivery oversight — able to operate autonomously and guide others.
• Strong communication skills — this role liaises with client heads and leads to build early rapport.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Gemini Enterprise / Vertex AI familiarity.
• Regulated / sovereign-industry experience (financial services, government, health).
