Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Google Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own and standardize the GCP foundation across client engagements. You will design secure landing zones, manage IAM, networking, and monitoring, and enforce DevOps practices with Terraform and CI/CD.

Role requires leadership, strong client-facing communication, and experience with multi-cloud interconnects and security. This is a remote role based in the Philippines with day shifts.

Qualifications

• GCP Professional certifications (e.g., Cloud Architect, Security Engineer, Network Engineer).
• Extensive client-facing GCP delivery experience.
• Knowledge of IAM, OU and policy-driven security for multi-tenant environments.
• Deep VPC networking, landing-zone design and org policy knowledge.
• Proven IaC with Terraform, CI/CD, logging and monitoring.
• Multi-cloud exposure with secure interconnect experience.
• Technical leadership and autonomous delivery oversight.
• Strong communication with client heads and leads.

Responsibilities

• Own the Google Cloud foundation for client engagements, standardizing a multi-tenant platform.
• Design and build secure GCP landing zones including IAM, networking, and monitoring.
• Implement identity-aware security and cross-cloud interconnects with DevOps/SRE practices.
• Provision and configure Gemini Enterprise with proper access and governance controls.
• Apply Well-Architected Framework to harden environments for data residency and compliance.

Your Role

As a Senior Google Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

• Own the Google Cloud foundation that every client engagement runs on, building to a standardized, multi-tenant, managed-service-ready standard.
• Design and build secure GCP landing zones, including organization hierarchy, IAM, networking, billing, and monitoring.
• Implement identity-aware network security, cross-cloud / multi-cloud interconnects, and robust DevOps/SRE practices.
• Provision and configure the Gemini Enterprise platform, establishing proper access, connectors, and governance controls.
• Apply the Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework to harden environments for AU data residency, DLP, and compliance (APRA / privacy).

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• GCP Professional certification(s) — e.g. Cloud Architect, Security Engineer and/or Network Engineer.
• Strong commercial GCP delivery experience (consulting / client-facing).
• Knowledge of IAM, organisational units (OU) and policy-driven security, so Gemini Enterprise is set up to best practice.
• Depth in VPC / VPC-SC, networking, org policy and landing-zone design.
• DevOps / Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), CI-CD, logging and monitoring.
• Multi-cloud exposure and secure interconnect experience.
• Technical leadership and delivery oversight — able to operate autonomously and guide others.
• Strong communication skills — this role liaises with client heads and leads to build early rapport.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Gemini Enterprise / Vertex AI familiarity.
• Regulated / sovereign-industry experience (financial services, government, health).
