Job summary

Insight is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to join its Infrastructure Managed Services Team in Pasig. You will manage WAN/LAN for multiple clients, use advanced monitoring tools, and perform complex network analysis to resolve incidents and implement improvements.

The role requires 7+ years in networking with experience across Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, F5 and Juniper. Certifications are desirable, SD‑WAN experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer/Information Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive networking experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco (Meraki, ASA, Firepower), Fortinet and F5; Juniper desired.
• Associations to professional level tech and support in routing/switching, security, wireless preferred.
• Solid understanding of monitoring and managing SD‑WAN solutions.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Location: Hybrid position located in Pasig, Philippines.

The Network Engineer will join Insight’s Infrastructure Managed Services Team and work on diverse and challenging customer projects. Responsibilities include incident resolution and service request handling for a broad range of networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN and LAN connections for multiple clients.
• Use remote monitoring tools and protocol analyzers to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network problems, including WAPs and controllers.
• Perform advanced, complex network analysis, identify problems and determine solutions.
• Recommend enhancements to the network that improve quality, performance, security, and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation of networks and network systems.
• Follow project methodologies to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of progressive networking experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco (including Meraki, ASA, and Firepower), Fortinet and F5; Juniper experience desired.
• Demonstrated association to professional level technology and support experience for routing/switching, security, wireless, etc. Certifications are desirable.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with monitoring and management of SD‑WAN solutions.
