Job summary

Prime System Solutions in Quezon City, Metro Manila, is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support an international MSP client. The role focuses on managing enterprise networking technologies, virtualization platforms, firewalls, VPNs, and datacenter infrastructure.

You will monitor, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti networks, maintain VMware ESXi and Hyper-V, manage Windows Server and Active Directory, and assist with backup and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Network Administration or Network Engineering.
• Hands-on with Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti UniFi.
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall basics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure across multiple client locations using Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti UniFi.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing, and VPN connections.
• Manage VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, and Windows Server/AD.
• Document changes and support disaster recovery and cybersecurity readiness.

Are you an experienced Network Engineer who enjoys managing complex network infrastructures, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and maintaining reliable IT environments?

Prime System Solutions is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team and support our international client, a Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving multi-branch wholesale distribution businesses.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work with enterprise networking technologies, virtualization platforms, firewalls, VPNs, datacenter infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure across multiple client locations using Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti UniFi.

• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing, and VPN connections.
• Manage Cisco Meraki MX appliances, AutoVPN, wireless access points, and network switches.
• Administer remote access VPN solutions using Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Maintain VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including virtual machines and virtual switches.
• Manage Dell server hardware, firmware, RAID configurations, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic Linux administration.
• Monitor backup operations, coordinate disaster recovery testing, and assist with server restoration.
• Investigate network security alerts and work with cybersecurity and endpoint protection platforms.
• Lead and support network-related projects, including branch deployments, ISP migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure all network changes are properly recorded.

• At least 3 years of experience in Network Administration or Network Engineering, preferably within an MSP environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR) and Ubiquiti UniFi.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewall configurations.
• Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support.

NICE TO HAVE

• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Meraki certifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking.
• Familiarity with Datto RMM, Autotask, IT Glue, and ImmyBot.
• Exposure to Veeam, Datto Backup, or other backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity platforms such as Blackpoint Cyber, Datto EDR, and RocketCyber.
• Experience supporting Linux-based ERP environments.
