Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage WAN optimization, application acceleration, and overall network performance enhancements.

You will design and maintain Cisco routing and switching for LAN, WAN, and data center environments, monitor network health with SolarWinds, and leverage ServiceNow for incident, problem, change, and request fulfillment within network operations. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in network engineering or similar role.
• Strong Cisco routing & switching experience; CCNP preferred but not required.
• Experience with SolarWinds monitoring tools (NPM, NCM, IPAM, etc.).
• Proficiency with ServiceNow ITSM for network operations management.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and QoS.
• Experience with network security principles and firewalls.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage for WAN optimization, application acceleration, and network performance enhancement.

• Design, implement, and maintain complex Cisco-based routing and switching solutions for LAN, WAN, and data center environments.

• Administer and configure SolarWinds for comprehensive network performance monitoring, fault management, and capacity planning.

• Utilize ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident management, problem management, change management, and request fulfillment related to network operations.

• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• With 2+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.

• Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies (CCNP certification or equivalent experience highly preferred but not required).

• Demonstrated experience with network monitoring tools, including: SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, IPAM, etc.)

• Proficiency in IT Service Management platforms, specifically ServiceNow (SNOW).

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, QoS, and other core networking protocols.

• Experience with network security principles and firewalls.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
