Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant (OTC/P2P) to support the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of NetSuite ERP solutions, with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC/O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business requirements, translate them into effective NetSuite solutions, and support system implementation and enhancement initiatives.

This is a hands‑on functional consulting role requiring strong NetSuite configuration expertise, a solid understanding of finance and operational processes, and experience supporting the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Consulting & Business Process Analysis

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements aligned with NetSuite best practices.
• Map and optimize end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC/O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and practical NetSuite solutions.
• Provide functional advice and recommendations to business users on NetSuite capabilities and process improvements.

NetSuite OTC/O2C & P2P Implementation

• Perform hands‑on functional configuration and implementation of NetSuite solutions covering Sales Orders and Order Management, Order Fulfilment and Inventory Management, Invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR), Customer and Pricing Management, Procurement and Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Goods Receipt and Vendor Billing, Accounts Payable (AP) and Payment Processes.
• Configure NetSuite workflows, forms, roles, permissions, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and other functional components.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency using NetSuite functionalities.
• Ensure system configurations align with business requirements, internal controls, approval workflows, and reporting needs.
• Support NetSuite implementation, enhancement, and system optimization projects.

Solution Design & Technical Collaboration

• Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), process flows, configuration specifications, and other functional documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Developers, Solution Architects, and external vendors to deliver effective ERP solutions.
• Work with technical teams on SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, integrations, customizations, and automation requirements.
• Support integration activities between NetSuite and external systems, including CRM, payment platforms, logistics systems, and other business applications.
• Assist with data migration, data validation, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and work with technical teams to identify and implement appropriate solutions.

Testing, Deployment & Support

• Develop functional test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities.
• Collaborate with business users to validate system functionality and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.
• Support data migration validation, cutover preparation, deployment, and go‑live activities.
• Provide post‑go‑live functional support, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the NetSuite environment.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and support knowledge‑transfer activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration & User Support

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and provide suitable NetSuite solutions.
• Communicate functional requirements, system capabilities, and proposed solutions clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks, implementation progress, and functional issues.
• Facilitate discussions between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct end‑user training and provide guidance on NetSuite functionalities and business processes.
• Support user adoption and ensure effective utilization of NetSuite solutions.

• 4+ years of hands‑on NetSuite functional experience covering implementation, enhancement, configuration, and post‑go‑live support.
• Strong functional expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC/O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Proven experience participating in end‑to‑end NetSuite implementation or enhancement projects.
• Strong understanding of Finance and ERP processes, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), billing, procurement, inventory, and related financial impacts.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite configuration, including SuiteFlow / Workflows, Saved Searches, Reports & Dashboards, Roles & Permissions, Forms and Custom Fields, NetSuite Administration.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams on SuiteScript, integrations, APIs, and third‑party applications.
• Practical experience with data migration, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
• Strong business process analysis, requirements gathering, and functional solution‑design capabilities.
• Ability to prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
• Good stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot functional issues independently.
