We are seeking a highly qualified Level III to provide technical leadership and oversight for our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection services, particularly Ultrasonic Testing (UT). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and approving inspection procedures, mentoring inspection personnel, ensuring technical compliance, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of an ISO/IEC 17020:2026 compliant Inspection Body Management System.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Valid NDT Level III Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in accordance with ISO 9712 or ASNT SNT-TC-1A / ANSI/ASNT CP-189.
Certification in additional NDT methods (VT, MT, PT, RT, ET, etc.) is an advantage.
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Non-Destructive Testing.
Demonstrated experience in ultrasonic inspection of pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipelines, structural steel, boilers, or industrial equipment.
Experience in developing, reviewing, and approving NDT procedures and technical documentation.
Experience providing technical supervision and mentoring to Level I and Level II personnel.
Experience supporting ISO/IEC 17020 management systems and accreditation assessments is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of Ultrasonic Testing principles, equipment, and inspection techniques
Thorough understanding of applicable codes and standards, including ASME, ASTM, API, and ISO standards.
Excellent analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret inspection results and recommend appropriate technical decisions. Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and inspection reporting software.
Candidates should have completed relevant training in:
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level III ISO/IEC 17020 Requirements and Implementation
ISO 9712 or ASNT Certification Requirements ASME Section V, ASTM E797/E797M, API 510, API 570, API 653, or equivalent inspection standards
Internal Auditor Training (ISO/IEC 17020 or ISO 9001)

Provide technical leadership and oversight for Ultrasonic Testing inspection activities.
Develop, review, validate, and approve inspection procedures and work instructions.
Review and interpret complex inspection results.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to inspection personnel. Participate in personnel competency assessments and authorization.
Support accreditation activities, internal audits, and management reviews.
Ensure inspection activities comply with ISO/IEC 17020:2026, applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
Recommend improvements to inspection methods, equipment, and personnel competency programs.
