Job summary

SABPPTECH SERVICES INCORPORATED is seeking a Level III technician to lead Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspection activities across projects. The role involves developing, reviewing, and approving inspection procedures, interpreting results, and ensuring technical compliance with ISO/IEC 17020:2026.

The ideal candidate will mentor Level I and II personnel, support accreditation activities, and work at project sites as required, ensuring high-quality inspection deliverables and strict adherence to

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of NDT experience.
Valid NDT Level III certification in UT per ISO/ASNT.
Experience developing and approving NDT procedures.
Mentor Level I/II personnel and provide technical supervision.
Experience supporting ISO/IEC 17020 management systems and accreditation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for Ultrasonic Testing inspection activities.
Develop, review, validate, and approve inspection procedures and work instructions.
Review and interpret complex inspection results.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to inspection personnel; participate in competency assessments.
Support accreditation activities, internal audits, and management reviews.
Ensure inspection activities comply with ISO/IEC 17020:2026, applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
Recommend improvements to inspection methods, equipment, and personnel competency programs.
