Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Talegaon is seeking an experienced project engineer to manage naval system projects. Responsibilities include planning, quality assurance, dispatch coordination, and cross-functional communication with suppliers and teams.

The role requires 5–7 years experience and diplomas in engineering disciplines. Site installation, commissioning, and shipyard experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering
• Diploma in Production Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines and resources.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards and align with goals.
• Participation in Dispatch activities, JRI.
• Supplier & Cross functional Communication: primary contact for cross functional teams or suppliers, with regular progress updates.
• Team Coordination: assemble and manage project teams for effective communication and collaboration.
• Good Knowledge of Mechanical / electrical systems of Naval defence System.
• Site coordination for installation, commissioning and site support.
• Experience in I&C, preventive maintenance, defect rectification of Weapon system.
• Experience of working inside defence shipyard.
