Candidates should have professional long-form editing experience, mastery of DaVinci Resolve, and a portfolio including pieces over five minutes. Excellent written English and clear, specific feedback are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional editing experience in long-form work (film, documentary, wedding films, long-form YouTube, or TV).
• Strong DaVinci Resolve skills — this is the main software.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Able to explain your editorial reasoning in writing, not just do the cut.
• A reel or portfolio including pieces over five minutes.

Responsibilities

• Watch videos and assess how they're edited
• Identify problems: awkward jump cuts, broken continuity, pacing that drags or rushes
• Judge whether the story or sequence actually makes sense
• Write clear explanations of what works, what doesn’t, and why
• Point to specific moments rather than giving general impressions
