Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Manila is seeking a Power Systems Engineer with 3–5 years experience to deliver MV and HV design support for buildings and infrastructure. You will work in our Front Office Power Systems team, ensuring technically sound outcomes for clients worldwide.

You will perform load flow, fault level, protection coordination, arc flash, and harmonic studies, building your expertise in MV/HV power systems analysis while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
• 3–5 years delivering power systems engineering services for buildings/infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent power systems software, alongside AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of LV and MV power generation systems, including diesel, gas and alternative fuel prime movers.
• Sound understanding of BS and IEC standards, applicable regulations and local and international codes.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and engage confidently with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide MV and HV design support across projects.
• Work within the Front Office Power Systems team to deliver technically sound outcomes.
• Share expertise with graduate and junior power systems engineers; develop leadership skills.
• Assist with site visits, inspections and factory/site acceptance tests, including overseas locations.
• Collaborate with a global network of professionals to ensure project success.
