Job summary

NTT America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Murex Back Office Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Murex MX.3 platform, focusing on back office operations including settlements, confirmations, accounting, and nostro reconciliation.

You will collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure accurate trade lifecycle processing, leverage strong SQL for data investigation, and apply knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with Murex MX.3, with specific hands-on experience in the Back Office module.
• Strong understanding of : confirmation, settlement, payment, accounting, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX formats)
• Experience with static data configuration in Murex (settlement instructions, netting rules, cutoffs, calendars)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and Murex accounting configuration (accounting schemes, event mapping)
• Experience with asset classes: FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives
• Strong SQL skills for data investigation and troubleshooting
• Experience with Murex Datamart or reporting tools is a plus
• Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting settlements (e.g., CSDR, T+1 settlement cycles) is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Technology)
