Job summary

JGQ Group of Companies in Davao is seeking a Multiskilled Technician to join our dynamic team. This full-time role covers maintenance, repair and installation across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC disciplines.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, install equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while documenting all activities and collaborating with colleagues for scheduling and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Proven multi‑skill technician across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints and manuals.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in trades.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Reading and interpreting specifications to install/repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventatives across multiple trades.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues and implement fixes.
• Repair/replace faulty components to minimize downtime.
• Install new equipment and systems per specs and safety standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritise critical issues.

About the role

JGQ Group of Companies is seeking a Multiskilled Technician to join our dynamic team in Davao. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work across multiple technical disciplines, providing essential maintenance, repair, and installation services. As a Multiskilled Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and systems, directly contributing to the efficiency and productivity of our business operations.

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine maintenance and preventative servicing on equipment and systems across various technical disciplines


• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions


• Conducting repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency


• Installing new equipment, fixtures, and systems in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards


• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency call-outs, prioritising critical issues


• Performing inspections and testing of systems to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements


• Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used


• Collaborating with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and resolve technical issues


• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe in accordance with workplace policies

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Multiskilled Technician or similar role, with demonstrated competency across multiple technical trades


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, and HVAC systems


• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to the trade


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals


• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices within the trades and services industry


• Problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment


• Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment


• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical work, plumbing, mechanical engineering, or related fields are highly desirable


• Valid driver's licence is preferred for mobility to different work sites
