Job summary

OLIVER is seeking a talented Multimedia Designer for a 5-month freelance engagement in Manila, Philippines. You will work from brief to final delivery, crafting industry-leading visual work that aligns with our client's brand guidelines and messaging.

You will own the full design lifecycle, brainstorm bold concepts, and collaborate with the IIG team to deliver high-impact digital and print assets while staying on schedule and under demanding client expectations.

Qualifications

• A passion for design and conception.
• Deep affinity with layout, typography and idea-generation.
• Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
• Consistent record of delivering design projects within agreed deadlines.
• Experience in ideation and conceptualization, alone or with a team.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work under own initiative.
• Excellent experience working closely with clients during kick-off.
• Confident in bringing your own innovative ideas and creativity within design guidelines.
• Strong client liaison, with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships.
• Effectively organising and prioritising workloads to manage client delivery while influencing clients with ideas.
• Excellent Adobe CS skills.
• Understanding of design principles and UX/UI trends - ideal but not essential.
• Working knowledge of After Effects animation is a bonus.
• On-and offline design experience with emphasis on Digital & print
• Retouching experience to mid-level.
• Passion for AI and new technologies
• Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn is critical

About the role:

In a highly competitive and saturated marketplace creating visually stunning, impactful and effective creative work is essential. We want to create industry-leading, world class work that’s truly beautiful, smart, and effective.

As a Multimedia Designer you will be an experienced integrated designer, comfortable taking design projects from brief through to completion, providing new ideas and creativity whilst working closely with the client’s brand guidelines. You will be producing design to the client’s brief and exacting standards whilst positively influencing clients with your creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative concepts.

What you will be doing:

• Producing beautiful and innovative designs for our client’s channels.
• Tobe responsible for the full design lifecycle from concept to execution.
• To brainstorm visual ideas & concepts with other members of the IIG team
• To develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the client’s marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant, positive impact on the consumer, promoting products and brands.
• To pitch creative solutions in response to marketing strategies.
• To oversee and manage the preparation of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specifications

What you need to be great in this role:

• A passion for design and conception.
• You’ll have a deep affinity with layout, typography and idea-generation.
• Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
• Consistent record of taking on, interpreting and delivering design projects within agreed deadlines.
• You have some experience in ideation and conceptualization, alone or with a team
• Attention to detail with the ability to work under own initiative.
• Excellent experience working closely with clients during kick-off.
• Confident in bringing your own innovative ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design guidelines across a variety of design collateral.
• Strong client liaison, with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships.
• Effectively organising and prioritising workloads to manage client delivery whilst simultaneously influencing clients with your own ideas and conceptual creativity.
• Excellent Adobe CS skills.
• Understanding of design principles and an awareness of UX, UI and Responsive Design trends - it is ideal but not essential.
• Working knowledge of After Effects animation is a bonus.
• On-and Offline design experience with an emphasis on Digital & print
• Retouching experience and skills to mid-level.
• Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
• Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
