Job Requirements
- With at least 2 years experience
- Technical diploma or equivalent in related field.
- Proven experience in maintaining water facilities or similar infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Water System Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of water & booster pumps, tanks, pipelines, back washing and valves to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with water distribution systems, including leaks, pump malfunctions, and other mechanical/electrical failures.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and water quality tests. Report any major issues or required upgrades to management.
- Emergency Response: Respond to water supply emergencies, such as pipe bursts or contamination incidents, to minimize disruption to the community.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
