Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a motivated Solutions Engineer to join the ASEAN Pre-Sales team. As a trusted advisor, you will align IT requirements to business outcomes with MuleSoft’s platform, collaborating with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and guide technical decisions.

You will develop architecture skills, build PoCs, and lead demonstrations while traveling across the ASEAN region. Strong English and Bahasa proficiency are required, with passion for technology and customer success

Qualifications

• Pre-Sales enterprise software experience with ability to influence decisions.
• Hands-on middleware, integration patterns, web services, APIs, ESB, BPM.
• Hands-on development experience and ability to code and design APIs.
• Experience with cloud technologies (iPaaS, SaaS, cloud infra).
• Experience building PoCs and RFIs/RFPs responses.
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and workshops.
• Strong passion for technology and business impact.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel; ability to work flexible hours in ASEAN; Bahasa proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Become MuleSoft Developer certified within 3 months.
• Complete MuleSoft SE trainings.
• Build architecture reframing and whiteboarding skills through shadowing and customer-scenario role playing.
• Engage with AEs and Sales leaders; shadow customer calls and engagements.
• Deliver product demos tailored to the client’s technical requirements and audience.
• Develop PoCs as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possible.
