Job summary

Amentum is seeking a qualified logistics specialist to manage parts, tools, and materials for MQ-9 aircraft and Ground Control Stations. You will oversee the tool room, ensure calibration and inventory accuracy, and coordinate with maintenance and military customers across CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

The role requires a Secret clearance, strong knowledge of military logistics, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Travel to designated work countries will be part of the rotation schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance required.
• 4 years within the last 6 years in requisitioning, inventory control, materials management, or related property management functions.
• Experience with Tool Control, HAZ Material, HAZ Waste and calibration.
• Strong understanding of military logistics processes per US Navy and/or US Air Force logistics, purchasing, and management requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain and control tools per tool control policy; inventory and inspect tools regularly.
• Manage tool control programs and ensure calibration records meet requirements.
• Keep records of tools issued and returned by workers; monitor tool room inventories.
• Process hazardous waste/material; label, containerize, inventory, and ship as directed.
• Requisition aircraft parts and support equipment for MQ-9 and GCSs; use SM&R codes.
• Prepare supply documentation for repairable items and verify against maintenance data systems.
• Supervise and mentor subordinate personnel in Support/Supply functions.
