Amentum is seeking a USMC MQ-9 CLS Mechanic with proven aircraft/composite maintenance skills to support MQ-9 operations.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, US citizenship, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of aircraft maintenance experience; familiarity with engines, hydraulics, and avionics is valued. Travel for CONUS/OCONUS deployments is expected; FAA A&P license is preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and readiness for deployments is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance is required.
• High School Diploma or completion of relevant military/vocational training.
• Minimum of 1 year of actual Aircraft Mechanic maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical maintenance, repair, and technical publications related to aircraft.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine daily maintenance on aircraft per supervisor priorities.
• Conduct launch/recovery duties and support operations.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair powerplant malfunctions; replace components as needed.
• Test engines and use equipment to locate malfunctions; repair and reassemble engines.
