Job summary

Pioneer Insurance in the Philippines seeks a Motorcycle Claims Evaluator to review and approve claims within the assigned authority, identify information gaps, and apply insurance principles to determine liability. You will evaluate daily claim volumes, ensure turnaround times are met, and keep the claims monitoring system current.

Collaboration on improvements to the Motorcycle Claims process is expected. The role requires a mechanical/engineering background, plus 3+ years in related functions.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a mechanical-related course or degree.
• Background in automotive/engineering coursework is acceptable.
• Experience in claims evaluation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves motorcycle claims within scope of authority.
• Evaluates daily claims volume and ensures timely processing.
• Maintains updated claims monitoring system and reports.
• Contributes to improvements within Motorcycle Claims.

Job description

• Reviews and approves motorcycle claims within the assigned scope/level of authority by identifying all relevant information/issues, establishing connection among gathered facts and application of insurance principles, insurance compliance requirements, company guidelines, and policy details to determine liability
• Evaluates claims received within the required volume per day
• Reviews and approves claims within the standard turnaround time
• Ensures that the claims monitoring system is updated regularly
• Participate in implementing improvements within the Motorcycle Claims

Qualifications

Graduate of any mechanical course or degree - can be of any 2-year Automotive Course or 5 year Engineering Course such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Aeronautical Engineering.

With background or experience of 3+ years in either of as Motorcycle/Car Parts Custodian, Motorcar Claims Evaluator or Mechanic is welcome.

Proficient in the use of Office 360 such as MS Word and MS Excel.

Lives within Davao City

Can flexibly shift from English to Filipino and vice-versa
