Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking a senior professional to lead the CBG Motor Team for New and Renewal Business in insurance. You will drive premiums, commissions, profitability, and persistency while implementing business development initiatives and service processes from quotation generation to policy administration.

The role requires coordinating with insurers and bank counterparts, cross-selling insurance products, and ensuring risk controls are maintained at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder.
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with insurers to accredit them to the CBG program and obtain best rates.
• Coordinate with bank counterparts to broker services and resolve issues.
• Identify markets and opportunities in the client base and implement strategies.
• Ensure premiums, commissions, profitability, and other KRAs are met.
• Cross-sell other insurance products to increase production.
• Lead and supervise the CBG Motor New and Renewal teams.
• Maintain the renewal/new business masterlist with branches and insurers.
• Prepare renewal monitoring and relevant reports.
• Monitor processes and implement improvements, including system enhancements.
• Coordinate with other units to resolve strategic/day-to-day issues.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and eliminate errors.
