Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre is seeking a claims professional to deliver accurate policy coverage assessments, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate assigned cases to resolution. You will handle motor claims processing with emphasis on guidelines, accuracy, and timely communication.

Experience in motor claims and a tertiary education are preferred. This role emphasizes compliance, confidentiality, and proactive stakeholder engagement within a global insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Some relevant work experience in motor claims.
• Preferred experience in the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes.
• Resolve non-compliant issues and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain good client relationships and respond to client requests promptly.
• Process incoming insurance claims and determine coverage.
• Set reserves, authorise payments, and settle claims efficiently.
• Identify and report suspicious or fraudulent claims.
