Job summary

WebBeds in Manila seeks an MoR and Refunds Executive to manage refunds, MoR transactions, and cash application in line with policies and controls. You will validate requests, process approved refunds, and monitor alerts to prevent losses.

Working with the Senior Executive and Team Leader, you will respond to stakeholder queries, maintain audit-ready records, and escalate complex cases when required. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of refunds, cash application, AR, or reconciliation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of credit card refunds, settlements, chargebacks, and controls.
• Experience in a shared services environment with ERP systems (SAP advantageous).
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Freshdesk, Zendesk, booking systems or payment portals is a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and numerate problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Refund processing for MoR and non-MoR customers per procedures.
• Refund validation by verifying bookings, payments, and refunds to prevent duplicates.
• Process refunds via payment providers and alternative methods when needed.
• Monitor Ethoca, Verifi and related alerts to prevent chargebacks.
• Perform MoR cash application and clearing for settlements and refunds.
• Investigate unmatched or incorrectly posted transactions and reclassify as needed.
• Maintain trackers and audit evidence for controls and reviews.
• Support month-end reconciliation and escalate complex cases.
• Respond to stakeholder refund queries within SLAs with cross-team collaboration.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to reduce risk.
