Job summary

I-PEX Philippines Inc. is seeking a Mold Supervisor to oversee the mold maintenance and repair section in Laguna, Philippines. The role ensures production molds operate efficiently to support quality, productivity, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering-related degree with supervisory experience in plastics molding, and possesses strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills to coach a team and drive continuous improvement in mold performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Industrial Technology or any Engineering-related course.
• With at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a plastic molding company.
• Knowledgeable in mold cleaning, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of molds used in production processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the daily activities of mold maintenance personnel and technicians.
• Ensure proper cleaning, repair, and preventive maintenance of molds to minimize downtime and production delays.
• Analyze mold-related issues and implement corrective actions to improve mold performance and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments regarding mold concerns and improvement activities.
• Maintain records of mold history, maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure molds are operating according to quality and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance monitoring to team members.
• Recommend improvements in mold maintenance procedures and operational processes.
• Monitor inventory and availability of mold spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and 5S practices within the work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
