Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking a Mold Equipment Engineer in the Philippines to drive mold equipment engineering activities in a dynamic semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on equipment installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and reliability studies to ensure high uptime and process stability. Strong background in mold tooling and calibration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant semiconductor manufacturing Equipment Engineer experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and integrity in executing mold equipment engineering processes.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Keep current on equipment manufacturers' notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability.
• Establish programs to increase uptime and address equipment problems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring quality and integrity in executing work on the Mold equipment engineering process
• Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
• Studying equipment performance and reliability
• Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
• Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education (Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering,) Physics or related engineering degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer

Minimum requirements - Technical skills

• Minimum 5 yrs working experience with Mold Asahi or Towa machines
• Advance mold die tooling disassembly and assembly
• Expertise on tooling design and modifications
• Advance setup, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Basic machine calibration knowledge
• Use of handy panel and other calibration jigs
• Basic equipment and process parameters understanding

• Material to Machine integration know how’s

  Nice to have - Intermediate knowledge on below machines

• Nordson/Panasonic Plasma
• Bake Oven
• CSAM/Xray
