Job summary

East West Banking Corporation, a major Philippine universal bank, seeks an experienced Risk Officer - Model Risk Management in Taguig. You will support enterprise-level MRM governance, model validation, and risk reporting as part of the second line of defense.

You will coordinate governance processes, ensure audit-ready outputs, and align with regulatory standards while partnering with senior management and risk committees.

Qualifications

• Experience in second-line controls and risk oversight

Responsibilities

• Maintain model inventory with documentation of purpose, ownership, lifecycle, and risk class
• Apply criteria for materiality, tiering, and risk classification per MRM framework
• Perform consistency checks to ensure governance and monitoring of models
• Consolidate model information including validation status and limitations
• Identify risk concentrations across ICAAP, ECL/IFRS 9, stress testing and pricing
• Track remediation status of validation findings and elevate high-risk issues
• Prepare dashboards and working papers for Senior Management and Risk Management Committee
