Job summary

Advanced World Systems Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to design and refine the user interfaces for mobile applications in the Philippines.

You will collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into mockups, storyboards, and UI guidelines, driving usability and visual consistency across products. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of UI and UX experience, strong Java/HTML5/JavaScript/CSS5 skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4 or 5-year IT-related courses (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
• At least 2 years experience in UI development and UX design.
• Solid experience in software development.
• Expertise in developing high-quality, object-oriented code (Java).
• Expertise in developing high-quality, object-oriented code (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS5).
• Excellent communications skills.
• Open to contractual engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work on User Interface and User Experience of mobile applications.
• Define Usability Guidelines and UI elements to be used.
• Participate in all phases of software development life cycle to convert concepts and specifications into Mock UIs, Storyboards, Scenarios, and Grid.
• Work closely with software engineering teams to integrate mobile application with other software systems.
• Participate in strategic analysis and help define roadmap for the team.
