Valid busca un Ingeniero de Soporte de Soluciones Móviles para unirse al equipo de Operaciones y Soporte, con sede en Madrid y modalidad híbrida. La función combina administración de sistemas, redes y software, trabajando en proyectos globales y en incidentes técnicos.

El candidato ideal posee experiencia en Linux/Unix, TCP/IP, bases de datos SQL y herramientas de desarrollo como Python y Java, así como inglés avanzado para colaboraciones internacionales.

Qualifications

• Formación en Ingeniería informática, telecomunicaciones, electrónica, informática o similar.
• Conocimientos de Linux/Unix avanzados y experiencia en entornos productivos.
• Conocimientos de redes, TCP/IP y herramientas de troubleshooting.
• Conocimientos de SQL y conceptos de bases de datos.
• Conocimientos de XML, SOAP, web services y servidores de aplicaciones.
• Despliegues de software en entornos de producción.
• Inglés avanzado en escrito y hablado.

Responsibilities

• Proporcionar soporte técnico de nivel 2/3 y resolución de incidencias en productos y servicios de producción.
• Investigar incidentes, analizar logs y realizar análisis de causa raíz.
• Monitorear entornos de producción y detectar problemas de rendimiento, disponibilidad y fiabilidad.
• Desarrollar y mantener herramientas operativas con Python, Java, Perl y scripting Shell.
• Apoyar despliegues de software en staging y producción.
• Solucionar problemas de conectividad y de aplicaciones usando TCP/IP y herramientas de trazas.
• Trabajar con Linux/Unix, SQL, bases de datos, JBoss/WildFly, XML, SOAP y servicios web.
• Soportar entornos con AWS, alta disponibilidad, balanceo de carga y clustering.
• Colaborar con equipos globales y clientes durante incidencias técnicas y comunicar avances.
• Participar en actividades de guardia (on-call) y viajes internacionales cuando sea necesario.

Are you passionate about technology, engineering and solving complex technical problems?

At Valid, we are looking for a Mobile Solutions Support Engineer to join our Operations & Support team within Mobile Solutions, based in Madrid.

You will work in a hands-on engineering environment supporting our Trusted Connectivity solutions, collaborating closely with Development, Product, Release and Global Support teams.

This role combines:

Linux & Systems | Telecommunications | Software | Networking | Databases | Cloud | Production Operations

Importantly, this is not simply a ticket-based support role. You will investigate complex issues, identify root causes, support deployments, develop operational tools and contribute to improving the reliability and efficiency of our platforms.

What will you do?

• Provide L2/L3 technical support and troubleshooting across products and production services.
• Investigate incidents, analyze logs and perform root-cause analysis.
• Monitor production environments and identify performance, availability and reliability issues.
• Develop and maintain operational tools using technologies such as Python, Java, Perl and Shell scripting.
• Support software deployments across staging and production environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and application issues using TCP/IP and protocol-tracing tools.
• Work with Linux/Unix, SQL, databases, JBoss/WildFly, XML, SOAP and web services.
• Support environments involving AWS, high availability, load balancing and clustering.
• Collaborate with global teams and customers during technical incidents and ensure appropriate communication and follow-up.
• Participate in on-call activities, provide on-site support and travel internationally when required.
• Take ownership of assigned products, platforms or technical components.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux/Unix, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, networking and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with Shell scripting.
• Experience with XML, SOAP, web services and application servers, preferably JBoss/WildFly.
• Understanding of software deployments and production environments.
• Advanced English, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced international environment.
• Willingness to participate in on-call activities and travel when required.
