Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a passionate Software Product Manager to define and ship mobile software experiences on Motorola devices. You will collaborate with business, engineering, UX, privacy and external partners to shape MVPs, write crisp requirements, and own the product backlog in an Agile setup.

Ideal candidates ship mobile software and Android apps, understand AI/ML concepts, data analytics, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years software product management; 8–12 years software industry experience.
• Experience shipping mobile software and Android apps.
• Familiar with AI/ML concepts and big data technologies.
• Experience interpreting analytics and performing A/B testing.
• Agile/Scrum development experience; familiar with JIRA.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to adapt messaging to audiences.
• Teamwork, ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Self-starter; able to progress with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Work with business, engineering, UX, privacy and partners to define and ship experiences.
• Define and discover MVP for monetizable software experiences.
• Develop detailed requirements and user stories for specs and architecture.
• As scrum product owner, work with engineering/design to deliver on-time.
• In Agile, manage prioritization and trade-offs among needs.
• Engage with consumers via research to refine products and inform concepts.
• Define roadmap and secure buy-in for product vision with stakeholders.
• Identify market trends and opportunities; create prototypes/POCs.
• Coordinate across Motorola software teams across locations.
