Job summary
OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. seeks a skilled Electrician - Mobile to perform routine and breakdown maintenance on surface equipment at the Didipio mine in the Philippines. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, installation of accessories, and reliable service of heavy machinery.
The ideal candidate has at least seven years in mining or heavy industries, TESDA NC-II or higher, and a valid driver’s license. On-site accommodation, meals, health insurance, and travel support are offered.
Qualifications
- Automotive electrician qualification and mining industry experience preferred.
- Experience with heavy equipment and automotive electrical systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting on surface equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Install electrical accessories on light and heavy equipment and estimate material needs.
- Document maintenance through work orders and PRONTO.
- Suggest improvements to prevent malfunctions and improve safety and performance.
