Innodata Group is seeking an MIS Analyst to support information management, reporting and BI across the organization. You will build dashboards, ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights to drive data-driven decisions.

Collaborating with stakeholders, you will identify reporting needs, monitor performance, and contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives across teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years in MIS, BI, reporting or analytics.
• Ability to develop reports and dashboards with accuracy.

Job Description

Role Mission

The MIS Analystis responsible for supporting the organization’s information management,reporting, and business intelligence functions. The role focuses on maintainingdata accuracy, developing reports and dashboards, supporting business systems,and providing actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-makingacross the organization.

The MIS Analystworks closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, improvedata visibility, identify performance trends, and support operationalexcellence initiatives through analytics, automation, and continuous processimprovement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and automate operational andmanagement reports.
• Design and maintain dashboards andvisualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Analyze business and operational performancedata to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Provide timely, accurate, and actionableinsights to support business decisions.
• Create and maintain standardized KPI andperformance reporting frameworks.

Data Management & Quality

• Collect, validate, transform, and maintain datafrom multiple sources and systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness,and integrity across reporting environments.
• Support data governance initiatives throughadherence to defined data standards and controls.
• Perform data audits and reconciliations to improve reporting reliability.
• Maintain documentation of data definitions,processes, and reporting methodologies.

Systems & Process Support

• Support the maintenance and optimization ofMIS-related applications, databases, and reporting platforms.
• Assist in identifying opportunities forautomation and process improvement.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders toresolve data and reporting issues.
• Participate in system enhancements, testingactivities, and reporting solution deployments.
• Monitor reporting and dashboard performance andrecommend improvements where needed.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identifydrivers of operational performance gaps and business issues.
• Partner with Project Management, Delivery,Quality, and Operations teams to analyze performance and recommend data-drivenactions.
• Utilize analytical tools such as SQL, Excel,Python, or other relevant technologies to support reporting and analysisrequirements.
• Support business improvement initiatives throughfact-based analysis and performance measurement.
• Stay informed on emerging analytics, reporting,automation, and AI technologies that can enhance business performance.

AI & Automation Support

• Support AI and automation initiatives throughdata preparation, validation, testing, and performance tracking.
• Assist in evaluating and improving reportingworkflows using automation and generative AI tools.
• Participate in prompt testing, analyticsuse-case development, and adoption of AI-enabled productivity solutions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manualreporting effort through automation and intelligent reporting capabilities.

Education

• Bachelor’sdegree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, ComputerScience, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in MIS, businessintelligence, reporting, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, andperformance metrics.
• Experience working with large datasets and datavalidation processes.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction andanalysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similarbusiness intelligence tools.
• Understanding of databases, data structures, andreporting processes.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or otherenterprise systems is preferred.
• Exposure to Python, Power Query, Power Automate,or similar automation tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity andanalytics tools is preferred.
