Job summary

HS Financial Technologies in Manila is seeking a Middle Office Associate to support trading desks across multi-strategy funds. The role covers trade capture, affirmations, pricing, client reporting, and ongoing system enhancements, offering exposure to global markets and complex derivatives.

You will interact with banks and servicing agents to set up facilities, monitor events, review confirmations, and ensure accurate cash and loan bookings.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hedge fund, private credit, or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of syndicated bank loans and credit markets.
• Experience with loan administration, loan closing, or loan servicing.
• Familiarity with loan documentation and related processes.
• Ability to read and analyze Credit Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize credit agreements and information obtained from the Funds or third parties to set up new loan facilities in HS Financial Technologies proprietary system
• Monitor and process all involuntary maintenance events such as but not limited to, paydowns, drawdowns, commitment reductions and interest rate changes as provided by Agent Bank or private servicing agent
• Obtain facility and contract details through direct interaction with the Agent Bank or other private servicing agents
• Identify any missing or inaccurate pay down/drawdowns, interest and restructure receipts/payments
• Resolve all executing broker and agent bank issues related to processing and accurate booking of the Fund's bank loan positions with the assistance of the Investment Manager if necessary
• Review trade confirmations, assignment agreements, and pricing for accuracy
• Compare Funding Memo against independent HS Financial Technologies calculations

As we continue through a period of explosive growth, HS Financial Technologies is searching for driven professional who can make an immediate impact in our newly created Middle Office team, based in Manila.

The Middle Office Team at HS Financial Technologies perform all trading desk support responsibilities required of large Multi-Strategy Hedge and Private Equity Funds. The Middle Office Associate will work across functions such as trade capture, affirmations, and pricing. Other responsibilities will be, but not limited to, issue resolution, client reporting deliverables, and technology development.

The position will expose the successful candidate to all financial markets and products traded globally, including highly complex derivative instruments. You will develop invaluable inexperience around how each product trades in the market. The position boasts a very wide range of tasks across all facets of the trading cycle.
