Netlogic Solutions Asia, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level SAP ABAP Consultant who enjoys solving problems, building reliable SAP solutions, and turning functional requirements into quality technical deliverables.

This role focuses on SAP ABAP development and expanding capabilities in SAP S/4HANA and modern SAP technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions, review specifications, and prepare technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Preferably 3–5 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience with SAP implementation, enhancement, migration, and/or application support.
• Able to independently complete standard to moderately complex ABAP developments with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of SAP business processes and integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, PS, PM, or other functional areas is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Netlogic Solutions Asia, Inc. (NLS) is looking for a Mid-Level SAP ABAP Consultant who enjoys solving problems, building reliable SAP solutions, and turning functional requirements into quality technical deliverables.

This role is ideal for an ABAP developer who already has solid hands‑on experience and is ready to take greater ownership of developments while continuing to expand their capabilities in SAP S/4HANA and modern SAP technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions based on business and functional requirements.

• Work on various SAP developments, including:

  • Reports and ALV

  • Interfaces

  • Data conversions and migration programs

  • Enhancements, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BAdIs

  • Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms

  • Function Modules and BAPIs

  • Background programs and scheduled jobs

  • ABAP Objects and reusable components

• Review functional specifications and determine the appropriate technical approach.

• Prepare clear and complete technical specifications and development documentation.

• Perform technical analysis, impact assessment, and effort estimation for new requirements and change requests.

• Debug and resolve application errors, production issues, and performance-related concerns.

• Conduct Unit Testing and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, and production deployment.

• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants to ensure developments address the actual business requirement.

• Coordinate with BASIS, Security, Integration, and other technical teams when needed.

• Apply appropriate SAP coding standards, development practices, and performance considerations.

• Support transport management and deployment activities across SAP environments.

• Maintain proper technical documentation and test evidence for completed developments.

• Keep the project team informed of progress, dependencies, technical risks, and issues.

• See assigned developments through from analysis to successful completion.

Technical Skills We're Looking For

• Strong working knowledge of SAP ABAP development.

• Hands‑on experience with reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and debugging.

• Good understanding of ABAP Objects, Data Dictionary, Function Modules, BAPIs, and performance optimization.

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

• Familiarity or hands‑on exposure to modern SAP development technologies such as:

  • ABAP Development Tools (ADT/Eclipse)

  • CDS Views

  • OData Services

  • APIs and integration

  • SAP Fiori backend development

  • Clean Core concepts

• Exposure to RAP, SAP BTP, or cloud-based SAP development is an advantage.
