Job Description
- Plan and implement community livelihood projects, including support for community cooperatives, women's saving and credit groups, local businesses, and capacity‑building training.
- Assist organization and decision‑makers in making informed decisions regarding the micro‑finance/social investment needs of community cooperatives and small business groups.
- Review business plans of cooperatives and manage loan contracts for cooperatives, associations, and small business groups.
- Enhance the Microfinance entity’s processes as a subsidiary of GNIP through feasibility studies, business planning, and other business incubation processes, including financial projection and legal status of registration acquisition.
- Spearhead Microfinance Start‑Up Operations and Development in pilot areas of GNIP.
- Provide technical inputs and guidance to field officers for the implementation of products, services, and activities.
- Lead the monitoring and evaluation of CDP micro‑finance operations, performance, services, and ensure that systems are in place.
- Lead the effective implementation of Social Performance Management (SPM) System through information campaigns, compliance monitoring, and adherence to the organization’s advocacy and mission.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor such as proposal development as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in microfinance or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
