Job summary

Career Professionals, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Researcher to conduct microbiological testing on submitted samples including RM, FG, water and environmental samples in Laguna, Philippines.

You will explore food safety issues, study foodborne risks, and participate in proficiency testing while ensuring compliance with government regulations and EMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in microbiological testing preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
• Familiarity with proficiency testing processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing on submitted samples (RM, FG, water, environmental).
• Research microorganisms in food and assist in preventing food-borne diseases.
• Study food poisoning, spoilage and preservation; support food safety regulations and compliance.
• Participate in proficiency testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor effects of processing/packaging on preservation.
• Implement improvements to meet government food safety regulations.
• Serve as a trainer or reference on EMP requirements.
