Formación

• Proven work experience in export/local merchandising/marketing.
• Applicants with extensive experience may be considered for higher or senior-level positions.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Up-to-date with merchandising trends and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Liaison with international and local buyers to strengthen relationships.
• Determine market needs of each buyer and plan marketing for product development.
• Plan and develop merchandising strategies balancing customer expectations with company objectives.
• Analyze sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan ranges/stocks.
• Collaborate with buyers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and delivery.
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products effectively.
• Monitor stock movement for the local market including promotions and price changes.
• Produce showroom layout plans and update store ambiance.
• Build relationships with channel partners to close deals and enlarge pipeline.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices.
