Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in merchandising, buying, procurement, or a related retail role.
• Experience assisting with buying activities, purchase orders, and supplier coordination is preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist buyers with product selection, assortment planning, and seasonal merchandise strategies.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock availability.
• Track purchase orders, shipments, and delivery schedules, following up with suppliers as needed.
• Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and vendor records.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product trends and pricing opportunities.
• Analyze sales performance and inventory reports to support buying decisions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments to ensure timely product availability.
• Support promotional activities, product launches, and merchandising initiatives.
• Perform administrative and reporting tasks related to merchandising operations.
