Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. in Laguna is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEPFS on construction projects.

You will analyse project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to determine material and labour requirements, develop cost databases, and collaborate with engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control, tender documents, and cost reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with MEPFS estimating.
• Strong knowledge of MEPFS systems and their installation costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEPFS systems on construction projects
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to determine material and labour requirements
• Develop and maintain cost databases and historical data for MEPFS components and systems
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and pricing schedules for MEPFS contractors and suppliers
• Monitor and track costs throughout project execution, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures
• Conduct value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety
• Prepare cost reports and financial forecasts for project stakeholders and management
• Liaise with MEPFS consultants, contractors, and suppliers to clarify specifications and resolve pricing queries
• Maintain compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and relevant construction regulations
