Job summary

SYSTRA is hiring an MEPF Revit Modeler to create 2D drawings and 3D models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems. You will work on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection details, supporting BIM workflows and coordinating with engineers and designers in an integrated design environment.

The role emphasizes accurate modeling, adherence to BIM standards, and timely delivery of design packages for projects based in the Philippines. On-site work requirement applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering, or drafting technology.
• Certification from accredited drafting institutions is an advantage.
• Advanced skills in MEPF Detailed Design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using AutoCAD and Revit in compliance with project scope, standards, and BIM deliverables.
• Manage and update existing models based on engineer feedback and project requirements.
• Prepare technical drawings, 3D modeling assets, and coordinate updates to ensure timely delivery against project schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure client requirements are met.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Civil, and other stakeholders to maintain an integrated Revit/BIM environment and avoid clashes.
• Produce and review design drawings for accuracy and compliance with BIM standards.
• Ensure documentation meets quality standards and is delivered on time.
• Review drawing packages before submission for review by Engineers/Lead.
• Support submission of complete design packages as required.
• Participate in Revit/BIM coordination meetings and share best practices.
• Support BIM workflows and provide training to junior modelers.

Context

The MEPF Revit Modeler role focuses mainly on creating accurate 2D Drawings, 3D Models, and technical drawings for building services and other services as required by the project, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection System. The position supports designer, engineering, and BIM workflows, ensuring that drawings and models meet project requirements. This role work closely with engineers, designers, BIM Lead, BIM Coordinator, and project stakeholders within an integrated design environment, playing a keyrole in producing high-quality outputs across all project stages.

Missions/Main Duties

• Create detailed 3D models and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using AutoCad and/or Revit in compliance with project scope , standards, and BIM deliverables.
• Manage and update existing models based on engineer feedback and project requirements.
• Preparing technical drawings, 3D modeling assets, and coordinating updates to ensure timely delivery against project schedules and budgets.
• Colaboration with engineers, designers, other disciplines, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings and models meet client requirements and project requirements.
• Coordination with other disciplines (Architectural, Civil, & other stakeholders) to ensure integrated Revit / BIM environment to avoid clashes and ensure coordinated design.
• Produce and review design drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements, company standards and BIM standards.
• Ensure all documents meet quality standards and are delivered on time
• Reviews own drawings and ensures that the drawing package is as per project requirement (CAD Management Plan and/or BIM Management Plan) before submitting to Engineers, Checkers, and Lead for further review.
• Supporting the necessary submission of complete design packages as required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams.
• Participate in Revit / BIM coordination meetings and contribute to discussions on modeling workflows and best practices.
• Supporting BIM workflows, providing training or mentoring to junior revit modeler, assisting in software improvement and transitioning.

Profile/Skills

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines, or in drafting technology, or training from reputable institution
• Certification from accredited drafting institutions/ agencies is an advantage
• Advanced computer and software skills in preparing MEPF Detailed Design drawings (AutoCAD and Revit software or equivalent)
• Minimun of three (3) years of related experience in the drafting/ detailing/ modeling of MEPF System, preferably railway stations or equivalent using AutoCad, BIM, and Revit.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM360 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of modeling for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection System
• Familiarity with BIM standards, and experience with model management, audits, and quality control.
• Ability to create Revit families, CAD blocks, and 3D visualizations if necessary.
