Job summary

Jacobs in the Philippines seeks a seasoned BIM specialist to develop and manage MEPF Revit models for infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project scope and standards.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, apply ISO 19650, and drive timely, high-quality deliverables while maintaining data environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of 3D modeling experience, including 2+ years with Autodesk Revit.
• Proficient in Revit across architectural, structural, electrical, piping, MEP disciplines.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage MEPF Revit models and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, modelers, and stakeholders to meet BIM deliverables and technical requirements.
• Serve as the primary BIM contact within the team and escalate complex issues.
• Apply ISO 19650 BIM standards across project stages.
• Ensure timely and quality deliveries per project schedules and budgets.
• Set up and maintain CDEs, perform model audits and ensure data exchange compliance.
• Conduct automated clash detection and facilitate VDC meetings.
• Provide BIM training and mentor junior staff and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage MEPF Revit models and documentation for infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project scope and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, modelers, and project stakeholders to meet BIM deliverables and technical requirements.
• Serve as the primary BIM contact within the team, escalating complex issues to technical leads or department heads.
• Apply and enforce international BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650, across all project stages.
• Ensure timely and quality‑assured delivery of models and drawings in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
• Set up and maintain Common Data Environments (CDEs), perform model audits, and ensure compliance with Exchange and Project Information Requirements.
• Conduct automated clash detection and facilitate virtual design coordination meetings.
• Provide BIM training, support software transitions, and mentor junior staff and cross‑functional teams on BIM workflows and standards.

Requirements

• Preferably holds a relevant Bachelor’s or college degree or an equivalent diploma in drafting technology.
• Minimum of five years of experience in 3D modeling, with at least two years of hands‑on experience using Autodesk Revit.
• Proficient in Revit and experienced in disciplines such as architectural, structural, electrical, piping, fire protection, mechanical, telecom, and control & instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills and resilience in handling critical feedback.
• Able to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented, accurate, and patient in producing high‑quality outputs.
