Job summary

ESCA Incorporated is seeking a Construction Project Engineer - Mechanical to plan, design, and oversee HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and piping systems across construction projects. The role connects design engineering with on-site management to ensure safe, on-time, and budget-compliant deliverables.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and a professional license is highly preferred, with 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of construction project engineering, mechanical site supervision, or MEP/HVAC design.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building systems and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Validate mechanical system plans, specs, equipment layouts, and project schedules with architects and engineers.
• Oversee on-site mechanical installations, testing, and commissioning per local codes and safety standards.
• Manage mechanical labor, materials, and equipment on-site; monitor expenses to ensure budget feasibility.
• Act as the primary technical contact for mechanical concerns among clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Identify on-site conflicts, provide engineering solutions, resolve bottlenecks, and prepare status reports.
