Job summary

Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, Design function, is seeking a designer to research and visualize fashion trends, translate them into viable ranges, and develop patterns, toiles, and tech specs for mass production. You will work with fabric sourcing, trims, and embellishments while aligning every design with brand promise.

Collaborating with the design team, buyers and product developers, you will ensure concepts meet customer and market needs and support seasonal line creation with strong trend

Qualifications

• Researching emerging fashion trends and general trends relating to fabrics, colors and silhouettes for the category.
• Producing patterns, toiles and technical specifications for designs; sourcing, selecting and facilitating buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments and adapting existing designs for mass production;

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the larger design team, buyers, product developers and production teams to develop innovative ranges which are in line with the customer and market requirements.
• Understanding the trends and fashion styles before the actual time for the fashion comes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely handover of designs to sourcing and product teams.
