Job summary

This role emphasizes empathy, advocacy, and seamless navigation of medical processes in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. The LO acts as the face of MediCard within healthcare facilities, ensuring high member satisfaction and effective utilization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health-related field as listed above.
• Experience in HMO operations, hospital operations, utilization management, case management, patient relations, and healthcare customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for members within assigned healthcare facilities.
• Guide members in accessing healthcare services and providers.
• Explain coverage, limitations, and exclusions of benefits.
• Assist with admission, treatment, discharge processes, and referrals.
• Coordinate with providers to promote medically necessary care.
• Deliver compassionate member support and manage concerns promptly.
