Job summary

Credibuild Development Corp. is seeking a CAD drafter to prepare and update MEFPS drawings for building projects using AutoCAD. You will coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams to ensure accurate layouts and compliance with standards.

The role involves revising drawings per consultant comments, creating shop and as-built drawings, and organizing drawing archives while meeting tight deadlines in a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or technical-vocational in Drafting Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of CAD drafting experience in building construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for preparing and revising 2D technical drawings.
• Knowledge reading and interpreting architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection drawings.
• Familiar with MEFPS systems (mechanical HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection layouts).
• Ability to prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordinated layouts, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Capable of coordinating drawings with architectural and structural disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Familiar with construction standards, project specifications, and relevant codes.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet project deadlines.
• Willing to coordinate with engineers, site personnel, and other project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update MEFPS CAD drawings based on approved designs, engineer's instructions, and site requirements.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, RFIs, and approved design changes.
• Coordinate MEFPS layouts with architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for submission and approval.
• Maintain drawing revisions, file organization, and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project drafting standards.
• Assist the engineering team in resolving drawing discrepancies and construction coordination issues.
