As a Medical Underwriting Analyst, you'll play a key role in evaluating health insurance plans, preparing quotations and benefit proposals, and helping businesses provide quality healthcare coverage to their employees. You'll receive training in medical underwriting while working closely with experienced professionals in the health insurance industry.

Work Hours: 8:00 to 5:00 Mon-Fri
Analyze medical and group insurance information to prepare competitive benefit proposals and quotations.
Assess new and renewal group accounts by evaluating risk and pricing.
Prepare underwriting recommendations and renewal assessments.
Coordinate with the Sales Team to gather information needed for proposals.
Maintain proposal records and ensure turnaround times are met.
Support pricing studies, reporting, and process improvement projects.
Assist in resolving underwriting inquiries with guidance from senior team members.
Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with good numerical aptitude.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Interest in healthcare, insurance, or medical risk assessment is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical or any allied medical or life sciences course.
Willing to render overtime during cut-off season
